Hunter's proudest academic accomplishment is the publication of his undergraduate research in public health (novel tobacco use among U.S. minors and urban food insecurity, respectively). He hopes to add to his list of scientific publications within the near future.
Hunter utilizes GIS to enhance his research via visual storytelling. As an undergraduate, he and his team used GIS to visualize their findings. Hunter also used GIS to summarize the work accomplished by Geoporter Costa Rica in 2021.
Backyard Talk is the weekly blog of the Center for Health, Environment & Justice (CHEJ). Each entry focuses on issues or events related to environmental justice, toxicology, scientific methods, community organizing, and grassroots activism. This is a list of Hunter's submissions since 2022.
